hang ups and wrong numbers

Okay, today the number one annoying thing about being a receptionist is when people just hang up without saying a word!!! Seriously, if you have the wrong number, that's fine, I'm not going to be annoyed or yell at you. But if you just hang up in my ear after I heard that you are there, without saying anything, I'm going to yell at you and possibly call you names. Sure, you already hung up, so you won't be able to hear me! But, anonymous caller who breathes in the phone, I want you to know that you are causing me mental anguish!!! How much time would it really take out of your busy schedule to politely say, "Oh I'm so sorry, I think I dialed the wrong number!." I think maybe 2 seconds tops. Then I will smile and say, "Hey, that's okay!" I don't know if these people are afraid maybe I am going to pray for them or send unwanted blessings in their general direction if they speak or what!?

Monday is almost over, and I am glad! I am very tired! I am supposed to be attending the first night of a casual group bible study tonight. This is something I have really been needing, but I honestly don't know if I have the energy to do it. (Want some cheese with that whine?) See, the thing is. . . I found out last week that I am pregnant!!! I guess about 6 1/2 weeks now. My husband and I are just beside ourselves happy and excited! Guess this also explains the previously described hormonal shifting. . . look out world, there is more where that came from! But seriously, I would really love any and all prayers from all my friends out there reading! I'm excited, but I'm also nervous about a lot of things. I feel mostly good, thankfully the stomach flu has passed, but I am developing some food aversions. And I am noting a bit of fatigue and nausea setting in, don't worry, I'll keep you updated. ;) xoxox
